A colourful upright piano is now available for members of the public to play outside a Cromwell pharmacy - during office hours.
The idea came about when Jackie Hamilton, who works at the pharmacy, was travelling overseas and saw how popular pianos in public spaces were.

Four workshops have been designed to help young people cope with stress from exams, and other situations they may encounter in the future.

People of all ages lined St Bathans rugby field, for the annual Wooden Cup match between Becks and St Bathans on Saturday.
It could have been anyone's match until the final quarter but a late try gave Becks the margin it needed, for a healthy 34-19 win.

The youth of Upper Clutha had plenty to showcase when the district's second annual youth exhibition was held recently.
The Mount Aspiring College pupils showed off young enterprise schemes as well as creative skills and photography and video-making.
