A postmortem will be held today for an Australian man who died on Saturday while on a commercial rafting trip on the Shotover River.

He was 31-year-old police officer Joshua Paroci of New South Wales, who died on the same stretch of Shotover rapids where a rafting guide died due to a medical event.
