A property which was searched by armed police officers this morning is connected to a Dunedin gang.

Up to twenty-five officers, some carrying rifles, stormed the brick warehouse in Bathgate Street in South Dunedin this morning, seizing several items.

Detective Dave Checketts says police are now working to identify if any of the property is stolen.

He says no arrests have been made in relation to the raid.

Locals say the warehouse had been used to repair cars for cash.
