This Sunday marks exactly one hundred years since the signing of the armistice put an end the First World War.

The Germans surrendered to the Allies on the eleventh of November, 1918, after four years of fighting.

To commemorate the occasion, the Otago Daily Times will have extensive coverage both in tomorrow's paper and online, including a 13-minute documentary featuring three of Dunedin's most renowned historians.
