Oyster fishermen and officials from the Ministry for Primary Industries butted heads at last nights community meeting at the Bluff Rugby Club.

The ministry hosted the meeting to discuss the effects of the demolition of Stewart Island oyster farms to prevent the spread of a deadly parasite to wild oysters.
