Three vintage vehicles, a five hundred kilogram Easter bunny mould and other memorabilia from the Dunedin Cadbury chocolate factory now have new homes.

Company owner Mondelez closed the factory earlier this year, with the loss of more than three hundred and fifty jobs.

They've been working to give the Cadbury heritage collection of vehicles and other items to Dunedin institutions....

But until yesterday, it seemed nobody wanted the old purple Ford vehicles or the giant rabbit.

But the items are now going to the Bill Richardson Transport World museum in Invercargill, where they'll go on display, surrounded by other Cadbury memorabilia.
