Thirty-seven year old Sonia Gillan had been battling debilitating chronic back pain when she went for an MRI scan last year.

The scan discovered she had breast cancer which had reached her bones, and was untreatable.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month has just ended, but Ms Gillan told the South Today her story is a warning people have to be aware of their health for all twelve months of the year.
