A vigil was held in Dunedin’s Octagon last night in memorial of Kaine Morrell and other prisoners who have committed suicide.

Morrell died this February while in Christchurch Men’s Prison.
Vigil organisers People Against Prisons Aotearoa want to see an end to solitary confinement.
