Emergency services were called after a car crashed into a barrier outside a South Dunedin business this morning.

The crash happened on King Edward Street at about 10.15 where the car almost hit Zodiac record store...

It came to rest on the footpath after crashing through a decorative barrier

Police say the road was closed and was reopened just after 11am.

Saint John say ambulance attended the scene but the patients' injuries were very minor and they were treated at the scene.
