An Otago Polytechnic Design student has taken home a bronze and a silver medal in this year’s national Best Design Awards.

Jeremy Metherell of Dunedin was presented with the awards at a ceremony in Auckland on Friday for his high-tech
children's wheelchair and his hammock design.
