Dunedin's two-yearly arts festival is ready and raring to take to the stage today after problems with everything from finding venues to finding missing paint have been resolved.

Performers are arriving in the city, with technicians working hard to prepare venues.

And for festival director Nicholas McBryde, managing his stress levels is simply part of the job.
