The state of emergency in Dunedin was lifted at 9 o'clock this morning as Civil Defence moved into recovery following the weekend's flooding.
More than 100mm of rain and heavy winds battered much of eastern Otago on Friday and Saturday.
The situation was updated at a press conference earlier this afternoon.
