Love and hope overtook fear and anxiety yesterday as Dunedin's Islamic community returned to their mosque to pray for the first time since Friday's terror attack in Christchurch.

Hundreds of members of the public gathered outside Dunedin's Al Huda mosque in Clyde Street for nearly three hours in a show of support for the city's Muslim community.
