Inland Revenue and Ministry of Business and Enterprise Workers who are members of the PSA walked off the job at 1pm this afternoon.

These staff members of Dunedin's Inland Revenue Department marched from their office on Princess Street through the Octagon.

The members says they're having to do more tasks without a pay increase, and voted to strike.

Marchers ended up at Dunedin's PSA office where they held a rally and heard a stirring speech from PSA organiser Keith McFadyen.

The members returned to work at 3pm.
