Police have today arrested a 40-year-old female in relation to three recent aggravated robberies in Dunedin.

The first robbery was at McAuliffe Jewellers on June 6th.

The other two both occurred last Friday at the Elgin Foodmarket and Todd Antiques.

Police says they're extremely pleased to have made the arrest so quickly and are thanking the public for their assistance.

They say the quality of the CCTV and cameras throughout the city were of great assistance in the investigation.

The woman will appear in the Dunedin District Court tomorrow on three aggravated robbery charges.
