Two Southern scholars have received Kupe scholarships in Wellington today.
Invercargill born-and-bred Kane Johnson, and Dunedin based Laula-latoa-Sammy Seau received the prestigious scholarships from education minister Tim McIndoe at Parliament.
Johnson is in his second year of a Bachelor of Primary Teaching at Otago University.
While Seau is studying a Masters of Teaching and Learning also at Otago University.
