Queenstown residents have a chance to make submissions on a new 60 million dollar hotel proposed for the resort.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel will have over 200 [two hundred] rooms and is the subject of a resource consent application to the Queenstown Lakes District Council.

The public have 20 days from now to have their say.

The hotel would be built at the corner of Stanley, Sydney and Melbourne Streets by Pro-invest Developments, who plan to include on-site accommodation for permanent staff.
