Alexandra, Tarras and Ranfurly could have electric vehicle charging stations within a matter of weeks.

The Central Otago District Council agreed to provide sites in the three towns to network charging operator Charge Net. Company representative Nick Smith told the South Today it took about two weeks to set up a charging station once the paper work was done. The company is also looking for sites for charging stations at Frankton and Wanaka.
