New Zealand members of the Occupy movement are holding a nationwide 'People's Parliament' this evening, at the four main centres, including Dunedin.

Proponents say it's an open public forum hoping to discuss the country's future.

The event coincides with Armistice Day celebrations of peace.

This morning, Occupy groups around the country held a minute's silence to reflect on working towards peace and environmental, economic and social justice.
