Labour leader Andrew Little says his party would work with the Queenstown Lakes District Council, iwi, and the community Housing Trust to build 1000 affordable houses over the next decade.

Visiting Queenstown today, Little said a Labour government would use the Affordable Housing Authority and KiwiBuild programme to cut through red tape and get houses built quickly.
