A video of a car being driven erratically across the Crown Range between Wanaka and Queenstown has gone viral.

The footage shows the blue car, allegedly driven by a tourist, crossing the centre line and nearly crashing into on-coming cars.

Damon Forde of Arrowtown posted the video on Facebook and it has been liked 1200 times and shared more than 1700 times.
