The local branch of the Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust is benefiting financially from a recent catwalk event.

The trust isn't disclosing how much money it received through this year's Zonta Dunedin fashion show, which has been generating charitable funds for more than a decade.

But members say the help could be lifesaving.
