A pioneering Southern musician is the latest subject of filmmaker Simon Ogston and he is making a guest appearance at this year's New Zealand International Film Festival.

Founding member of the Flying Nun sound Bill Direen will appear with Ogston to discuss the film 'A Memory of Others', featured at this year's festival.
