Wanaka residents are being asked to voice their opinions on two choices for the town's new primary school.

One option is to build a new campus for the existing Wanaka Primary School on a new site.

The second option is to establish an entirely new school on a new site.

Earlier this year, the Ministry of Education announced about $16 million would be spent on the new primary school to ease the rapidly expanding school rolls in the town.
