A business delegation from China is in Dunedin.
Mayor Dave Cull has welcomed the delegates to the city, during a function at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery.
The visitors are from the Qingdao Bureau of Commerce.
Dunedin already has several business ties with the Chinese city, which is where the Haier Group is based.
Haier bought Fisher and Paykel in 2012, and increased its staff base here last year.
In October a mayoral delegation from Dunedin visited Qingdao.
And local delegates signed an official Friendship City relationship with their Chinese counterparts.
