Pupils at South Otago High School are tripping the light fantastic as they practice dancing for their annual senior ball.
The pupils have been learning old-time ballroom dance steps during class under the guidance of renowned dance tutor Robyn Gardner.

A Milton family is at the mercy of floods, which sweep into their house every couple of years.
When the Lambert family bought their cottage in 2006, it had been 15 years since the last big flood hit the South Otago town.
Since then, they've tried many ways to mitigate the situation, but have faced obstacles at every turn.
RNZ reporter, Tess Brunton, visited the Lambert's at their Milton home.

The custodians of the Lawrence Chinese Camp see a glittering future for the historic South Otago attraction.
They're planning to establish a major cultural attraction and hospitality complex at the site by 2025, costing $4.5m.
