Four runners managed to beat the bells, at this year's race around the University Of Otago Registry building.

Hosted by the Hill City-University athletic club as part of Orientation, the objective of the race is to circle the clock tower within the time it takes to chime 12.

Dunedin artist Guy Howard-Smith is painting a huge mural, with a smokefree message, on the side of an office building in Great King Street.

The Dunedin public are invited to pop-in on the monthly information sessions at South Dunedin's library to learn more about the geology of the area.
