About 200 year 5 and 6 girls from across greater Dunedin converged on North Dunedin sports fields, for a 'have a go' day, across four sporting disciplines.

The youngsters were encouraged by representatives in each code, with those trying hockey being guided by a gold-medal winning athlete.
