Police warnings about a recent spate of tool thefts haven't deterred those committing the crime.

The thieves struck again overnight, stealing thousands of dollars worth of tools and equipment from three vehicles.

The incidents occurred in St Clair, Green Island and Abbotsford.

The vehicles were broken into, and a large amount of tools stolen from inside.

Police are investigating at least half a dozen other cases of tool theft from the last few weeks.

Tradies are being warned not to leave equipment in their vehicles, which are actively being targeted by thieves.

Police have yet to apprehend anyone in relation to the crime spree.
