Residents of Princes Street apartments near the Lone Star Restaurant had a lucky escape this afternoon, when fire ripped through an upstairs flat.

Emergency personnel had concerns over whether the premises had been evacuated before the fire took hold, however injuries appear to be limited to a single case of smoke inhalation and minor burns.
