Strict new regulations will come into force at Dunedin's International Airport this weekend.

Passangers boarding international flights will have to carry any liquid in 100ml containers.

The strict new rules come in response to last years foiled bomb plot in London.

Standard sized water bottles, along with anything you can spray, pour or smear, will be banned unless it can be transfered into small containers.

The measures are being introduced throughout the country to meet international aviation requirements.
