Auckland thespian Penny Ashton is bringing her one-woman Jane Austen show back to Dunedin, after taking it around the world over the last few years.

Promise and Promiscuity is a series of scenes inspired by, and borrowing words from, the well-known English writer.

And Ashton's even taken it to Austen's home county in the United Kingdom.
