The benefits of Dunedin becoming a key hub for the oil industry were put forward at a recent business seminar in Dunedin.

The City Council firmly support development of the oil industry in and around Dunedin, and some of the oil companies currently testing the waters off the Otago coast will know in a couple of months whether they're going to begin drilling.
