The Dunedin City Council has announced it has appointed a manager for the Dunedin Chinese Garden.
Malaysian Chinese born Siew Gek Sim, who is currently working as a Customer Services Operator for the Dunedin I-site Visitor Centre, takes up the position at the end of next month.
A DCC spokesman says Ms Sim comes eminently qualified, with twenty years experience in project management and tourism, and is fluent in Chinese Mandarin, Chinese Cantonese, English and Bahasa Malay.
