Dunedin may soon lay claim to five All Blacks, following the Highlanders' win over the Chiefs on Saturday.

Highlanders first five-eighth Lima Sopoaga has made the All Blacks training squad.

The 24 year old is enjoying the best season of his career.

And Highlanders wing Waisake Naholo has also made All Blacks selection for the first time.

This is the 24 year old's first season for the Highlanders.

The team already boasts three long-serving All Blacks.

They include co-captain Ben Smith, who was born and raised in Dunedin.

Halfback Aaron Smith has been a key player for the team since 2012.

And centre Malakai Fekitoa has also made his mark, since being signed at the start of last season.
