Arrowtown police had an interesting encounter with a hedgehog which appeared intoxicated.

The officers went to help and the resulting video has been viewed more than 90 thousand times Discovered to have a yoghurt pottle stuck on his head, the hedgehog was seen on Buckingham Street looking very drunk and walking into things.

After a brief foot pursuit the disoriented hedgehog was cornered and the yoghurt pottle removed.
