Otago Polytechnic's penguin hospital continues to be packed with injured yellow-eyed penguins - Hoiho - with new arrivals being operated on each day.

Two operations on birds occurred today, to mend webbing and to amputate a toe. For some birds, it's not their first time under the knife.
