More than six hundred graduands and their families took to Dunedin's main street to march in the parade before two University of Otago graduation ceremonies today.

Crowds lined George street to applaud the granduands and wish them well.

Those attending the one PM ceremony at the Dunedin Town Hall have graduated with qualifications mainly in arts, music, theology and with bachelor of applied science degrees.

Those attending the four PM ceremony saw graduands get their qualifications mainly in commerce and law.

About eighty others will graduate in absentia.
