Dunedin Police were kept busy over the weekend with items reported stolen from Mosgiel, Green Island and Concord.

Two brand new Lawnmaster mowers were stolen from a shed in Green Island, and wheels were reportedly removed from a car in a Concord driveway.

Senior Sergeant Ben Butterfield says Police are keen to hear from anyone who's been offered a cheap new lawnmower.

He says they're also following strong lines of inquiry after a car stolen from Green Island was found in Palmerston at the weekend.
