The introduction of the Emissions Trading Scheme, known as the ETS, is likely to effect different people in different ways, with the general public likely to see marginal price rises as increases in the cost in manufacture and delivery of goods start to be felt.

However, one industry that's definitely benefiting from the ETS is forestry, and one of the big players in the local forestry game has already sold millions of dollars worth of carbon credits.
