The new Mitre Ten Mega Store continues to attract attention for all the wrong reasons even though it's not yet opened.

Some residents claim the council's broken it's own rules by granting consent.

They say the bright orange colour of the building, as well as its signs, breach council regulations.

However the DCC's defending their decision to grant consent, insisting they followed the letter of the law.
