With a review of Dunedin's neurosurgical services underway, which looks to remove the service from the region completely, medics and the community hold grave concern for the outcome.

The New Zealand Nurses Union and the hospital here have organised a silent protest to be at held midday this Friday, hoping that what's been labelled a travesty to the region will be recognised by national media and the government.
