The Otago Heritage Bus Society are making the holidays a bit more festive for locals in need.

They're operating a free bus service on Christmas Day, to get people to and from the community Christmas dinner.

So the 39 Dunedin News team went out to meet the folks making the holidays more merrier for those who need it most.
