It’s that time of the year again - when the search begins to find Otago’s best amateur wildlife photographer!

Now in its eleventh year, the Otago Wildlife Photography Competition issues a challenge to Otago residents to work their magic with the camera, capturing either a plant, an animal or an example of human impact on the natural environment.

The competition typically attracts around 1,000 entries, with a $1,500 photographic accessories prize pack from Jonathan’s Photo Warehouse up for grabs.

Photos must have been taken after the 1st of January 2009, and entry forms are available from the Otago Museum, NHNZ or Jonathan’s Photo Warehouse.
