Brighton residents have vowed to stay put following 2degrees' decision to proceed with the installation of a 12m cellphone tower on the original Scroggs Hill site.

The protesters say they are disgusted by the way they're being treated by the telecommunications company, and say they won't allow the tower to go ahead.
