The annual visit to Dunedin by the Gypsy Fair was a festival of mud and biting winds, but the travelling community was not deterred.

Tattooing, shooting and tarot reading were all there at the Oval over the weekend.

And despite the inclement conditions, a few hardy locals were keen for a look.
