Goldfish breeders are in demand with the Dunedin City Council's staff about to go gold fish hunting.

DCC Spokesman, Mick Rees, says he is on a mission to find goldfish for the pond in the chinese gardens due to be opened early next year.

He believes the pond is likely to be the main attraction and goldfish are going to be the pond's main residents.
