Police are working to identify the people who died in a crash on the Te Anau - Milford Highway last night.

The crash between a passenger bus carrying tourists and a rented car happened just before 3pm yesterday afternoon. Southern Area Commander Inspector Joel Lamb described the incident as horrific.
